People already know singers such as Yuna, Ana Raffali and Najwa Latiff found fame through video-sharing sites. They are big names in the local music industry. They should be congratulated for their efforts and talent, which has been recognised nationally and often globally.
Aiman Azlan is a Malaysian vlogger. His video blogs are mainly for dakwah, and he has specific videos titled Take Five, which he uses to answer questions from the public. He is currently studying psychology and biology at the University of Toronto. To me, his vlogs mostly discuss intellectual matters compared with topics covered by other vloggers. You can check him out at this link: http://www.youtube.com/user/aimanazlan90.
Mat Luthfi is the most popular vlogger in Malaysia. Born in Kedah and now studying at Curtin University in Perth, Australia, his vlogs are funny but filled with important messages. People like his videos because he has his own ideas, provides a unique opinion and discusses topics that we can relate to in our daily lives. I love all his videos because he creatively voices his opinion on morals, movies, songs and political issues. As an example, he made a video about how judgemental our people can be. I personally agree with his idea that this behaviour should change because it shows how much of a busybody Malaysians can be. To be concerned is good, but if you keep talking negatively about people and gossiping, you create hostility within the community. We should look up to those who use technology in useful ways and should not limit ourselves to entertainment. If you check out the top vloggers in Malaysia, you’ll find they are students who are mostly studying abroad, such as Anwar Hadi, Aiman Azlan, Mat Luthfi and Maria Elena.
So pick the right vlog as your favourite!
